A uniquely flexible artist based in Italy, Trashman Blues shows are easily adapted for stage or street, large or small venues walking or fixed position shows, indoors or outdoors. He is technically autonomous with his own battery powered amplification and needs minimal space to perform. Mark is one of the few artists capable of custom tailoring his performances to almost any needs. He can always come up with something just right for your event!

Mark Di Giuseppe - Trashman Blues is a one man band originally from Chicago (based in Italy) with 30 years of international experience of walking and stage shows! His instruments are all his own inventions built from recycled materials. The double-neck license plate guitar is a showstopper with one normal electric guitar and one special for blues and slide tunings. The drums are a mechanical marvel centered around a bass drum made from a plastic washtub which allow him to play bass drum, snare drum, cymbal, cowbell, woodblock and harmonica while at the same time playing the double-neck guitar. Besides playing all these instruments at the same time it’s his voice that really stands out. Thanks to high tech electronics Mark is able to sing not with only one voice but up to 3 voices in perfect harmony! The music ranges between blues, R&B, soul, 70’s classic rock, 50’s rock & roll, jazz and country. Unique arrangements to songs by Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, John Lee Hooker, Leadbelly, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, ZZ Top and the Rolling Stones among many others make for a show that is universally appealing and can get the oldest and the youngest dancing together in the street! Trashman Blues performances are always powerful and energetic yet sometimes beautifully sweet and moving with haunting vocals.

Mark, inoltre, ha in repertorio diversi vecchi spettacoli di “one man band” includendo svariati generi musicali , dalla musica classica al calypso, dallo ska al reggae, dal jazz al folk internazionale con canzoni cantate in 10 lingue diverse! Mark Di Giuseppe - Trashman Blues è un one man band originario di Chicago (con sede in Italia). Sulle sue spalle, oltre al suo strumento (tacabanda), ci sono ben 30 anni di esperienze internazionali di spettacoli ambulanti e su palcoscenici! I suoi strumenti sono tutte sue invenzioni originali, costruite con materiali riciclati. La chitarra a doppio manico è fatta con vecchie targhe di automobili americane ed è la stella dello show: una chitarra elettrica normale e una chitarra speciale per il blues e “slide”. I tamburi sono una meraviglia della ingegneria: una gran cassa fatta utilizzando una bagnarola in plastica accompagnata da rullante, piatti, campanaccio e clave. Infine l'armonica e di suonare tutto questo insieme alla chitarra a doppio-manico. Oltre a suonare tutti questi strumenti contemporaneamente, nel suo spettacolo la voce non passa in secondo piano: grazie all’alta tecnologia elettronica, Mark è in grado di cantare da solista o accompagnato da un coro di ben 3 voci distinte creando interessanti armonie. Il repertorio musicale è molto vario: blues, R&B, soul, rock classico anni 70, rock & roll anni 50, jazz e country. Si avvale di arrangiamenti particolari di canzoni di Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, John Lee Hooker, Leadbelly, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, ZZ Top, i Rolling Stones ecc… Insomma, lo spettacolo che è universalmente attraente e fa ballare anziani e giovani in strada o in locali. Gli spettacoli di Trashman Blues sono sempre carichi di energia e riescono ad incantare tutte le platee.
