Foot-pulls

This might seem trivial, but I promise it’s not. To be a one man band, you've got to use every part of your body. Most people play the bass drum by ropes attached to their shoes. I figured that if I hooked the chords directly to my feet I could wear any shoes that I wanted, and they wouldn't break so easily. I made these years ago, and they haven't broken yet! They're made from seat belts from a car and fit inside my shoes. I can even play barefoot with them!
